The Advanced Performance Company is excited to announce its upcoming summer academy experience for returning participants rising from 8th to 12th grade. This immersive two-week program promises to elevate young actors’ skills in improvisation, scene-building, acting and characterization, musical theatre vocal technique, choreography, and technical theatre design, culminating in a production.
Program dates will run from Monday, June 16 to Friday, June 27 with the final showcase scheduled for Friday, June 27 at 7 PM. This program is designed for passionate students eager to refine their artistic talents and participate in a collaborative theatrical experience.
Application Process:
Aspiring participants must submit a video audition as part of the application process. The audition should include:
– A slate with the applicant’s name and age.
– A performance of either one monologue from a play of their choice OR a 32-bar cut from a song of their choice.
Audition videos must be submitted by Sunday, June 1, at 6 PM. Please send your video audition to [email protected].
Tuition Information:
– Early Registration (until June 7): $245
– Late Registration (after June 7): $255
