ATLANTA BRAVES DROP WEEKEND SET IN SAN FRANCISCO TO THE GIANTS, ROME EMPERORS FINISH SERIES IN GREENVILLE, SC WITH SUNDAY LOSS TO THE DRIVE

The Atlanta Braves lost to the San Francisco Giants by a final score of 4-3 on Sunday in San Francisco, CA. It marked the seventh straight loss for Atlanta and the fifth win in a row for San Francisco.

Matt Olson was responsible for all three RBIs for the Braves to include a two run double in the top of the third inning.

Mike Yastrzemski drove in three runs and put the Giants ahead on an error in the fourth.

Spencer Strider was charged with the loss for Atlanta after surrendering four runs (three of them earned) and three hits, walking three, and striking out five through six innings of work. Landon Roupp was credited with the win and Camilo Doval picked up the save for San Francisco.

The Rome Emperors fell to the Greenville Drive by 7-2 on Sunday afternoon in the finale of a six-game set at Greenville, SC. The Emperors dropped that series by 1-5.
