ATLANTA BRAVES DROP TUESDAY NIGHT GAME AT MILWAUKEE TO BREWERS, ROME EMPERORS OPEN HOMESTAND WITH LOSS TO GREENSBORO GRASSHOPPERS

The Atlanta Braves fell to the Milwaukee Brewers by a final score of 4-1 on Tuesday evening in the second outing of a three game set in Milwaukee, WI. That evened the series at a game each.

The Brewers struck first with a two-run homer by Jackson Chourio during the bottom of the third inning. The Braves got on the board in the top of the fifth with an RBI single from Ronald Acuna Jr. Jake Bauers hit a solo home run in the sixth, while William Contreras walked in a run during the seventh for the Brewers.

Grant Holmes took the loss for Atlanta after surrendering three runs and five hits, walking three, and striking out nine in five and one-third innings. Quinn Priester got the win and Trevor Megill picked up the save for Milwaukee.

The Rome Emperors lost to the Greensboro Grasshoppers by 8-2 on Tuesday night in the opener of a six-game series at AdventHealth Stadium. That was the fifth consecutive loss for the Emperors and the second straight victory for the Grasshoppers. The teams will meet again tonight at 7 pm.
