ATLANTA BRAVES BACK HOME THIS WEEKEND VERSUS COLORADO ROCKIES, LISTEN ON WLAQ

The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled off-day on Thursday and will be back at Truist Park this evening to open a six-game homestand with the first of three games versus the Colorado Rockies. Bryce Elder will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta, while German Marquez will be on the mound for Colorado. First pitch is slated for 7:15 pm. Atlanta wrapped up a six-game road trip on Wednesday afternoon with a 6-2 victory in Milwaukee, WI over the Brewers. Spencer Schwellenbach led the charge by pitching a complete game.

The Braves took two of three from the Brewers and went 2-4 during the road trip. They now hold a record of 29-38 on the 2025 regular season and are in fourth place of the National League East. The Rockies are 12-55 and in last place of the NL West.

The weekend series versus the Rockies will be followed for the Braves by an off-day on Monday, then a three-game series against the New York Mets next Tuesday through Thursday nights in Atlanta.
