The First Friday concert series got off to a great start at the beginning of this month, and Rome’s Downtown Development Authority looks forward to the remainder of the series in the months ahead.
Suzanne Roberts, DDA Director, enthuses that thousands of people attended first First Friday concert of 2025 on June 6th featuring Guardians of Jukebox.
July’s concert will take place on the second Friday of the month. Jessee and the Boys will be the opening act and Them Mixon Boys will be the headliner on Friday, July 11th on the Town Green. Kneckdown and The Band Waleska will perform on August 1st. The series will conclude on September 5th with a performance by Big Bam Boom, a Hall and Oates tribute; their opener will be Brother Mojo.
All concerts will begin at 7 pm. The public is invited to attend free of charge, thanks to the downtown BID (or Business Improvement District), according to Roberts.
