GEORGIA STATE PARKS AND HISTORIC SITES ANTICIPATE A FLURRY OF VISITORS OVER JULY 4TH WEEKEND

Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites anticipate many visitors during the upcoming 4th of July weekend.

Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator, suggests early or late visits to state parks to potentially avoid crowds over the holiday weekend.

Those unable to reserve their desired campsite for this year are encouraged by Hatcher to reserve now for next 4th of July weekend. Residents of Georgia may make reservations 14 months in advance of their visit. Others may book 13 months in advance.
