Rome Little Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for the upcoming production of “Now and Then,” a heartfelt romantic comedy by Sean Grennan, directed by James Swendsen. Auditions will be held on August 11 & 12, 2025, with callbacks (if necessary) scheduled for August 13, 2025. The rehearsal period will run from August 14 through October 2, 2025, with performances taking place from October 3-12, 2025.

– Auditions are open to actors aged 18 and older.
– Four roles available: 2 Male and 2 Female.
– Registration begins at 6 PM; auditions are scheduled to start at 6:30 PM.

“Now and Then” follows Jamie, a bartender in 1981, who faces a pivotal moment in his life when an unexpected customer offers him and his girlfriend, Abby, $2,000 to share a drink and their stories. As they navigate their dreams, choices, and a lingering uncertainty about the future, they discover the depth of the stranger’s intentions as another unexpected twist unfolds. This warm comedy explores the costs of the choices we make and the people who influence those choices, making it a relatable journey of love and life.
