The 2025 MLB All-Star break is over, and the Atlanta Braves will be back in action this weekend as hosts to the New York Yankees in a three-game set. First pitch of tonight’s series opener is scheduled for 7:15 pm at Truist Park. The Braves enter the matchup with a record of 42-53 and in fourth place of the National League East. The Yankees are 53-43 and in second place of the American League East.
This weekend’s series against the Yankees marks the beginning of a six-game homestand for the Braves that will also include three meetings versus the San Francisco Giants next Monday night through Wednesday.
The Rome Emperors will also return to action tonight with the first outing of a three-game series in Asheville, NC versus the Tourists. Game time is slated for 6:35 pm.
The Emperors’ series at Asheville will continue through this Sunday. They will take Monday off, then face the Hudson Valley Renegades in a six-game set next Tuesday through Sunday in New York.
