Harbor House – The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center turns 30 this year and will take it back to 1995 for its Birthday Bash, set for the evening of Saturday, September 6th at 7 pm at Rotary Plaza in downtown Rome.
Lauren Thacker, Executive Director, says that the organization looks forward to celebrating the work its done to support local children and families through the past three decades.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in 1990s fashion at the event, which will feature a live ’90s cover band, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a bar. Tickets cost $50 each through July. Harbor House is a Child Advocacy Center that works with victims of sexual and severe physical abuse.
Collette Hollingsworth, President of the non-profit’s Board of Directors, says that she is proud of the work that Harbor House has done, along with several other organizations, to help kids.
