The Atlanta Braves snapped a five-game losing skid with a 10-7 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Monday night in the opener of a three-game set in Kansas City, MO.
Ronald Acuna Jr. had a game-tying, two-run homer for the Braves in the top of the third. Marcell Ozuna had a tie-breaking, two-run shot in the fourth.
Austin Riley added a solo home run during the top of seventh and a three-run double in the eighth.
Spencer Strider was credited with the win for Atlanta after surrendering two runs and seven hits, walking two, and striking out three through five innings. Raisel Iglesias got the save. Rich Hill took the loss for Kansas City.
