Media release from Floyd County, GA Emergency Management:
Floyd County Public Works will close Horseleg Creek Road on Wednesday to replace a failed cross drain. There is no detour for this project.
The location is at #3128 and is about a mile from the Southwest Rome Bypass, between Country Club Drive and Rivermont. Please plan your route accordingly and utilize the bypass for access from the west.
The closure will occur on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at 8 a.m. and should be complete by end of day Thursday August 7 at 4 p.m.
