It’s time for Friday night lights in Northwest Georgia as area high school football teams take the field for the second week of play in the 2025 regular season!
WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM will have coverage of Darlington football this evening as the Tigers hit the road to face the North Cobb Christian Eagles.
The Tigers were victorious in their regular season opener by 28-26 at Mount Vernon last weekend.
Darlington’s head football coach Wayne Groves told WLAQ Sports that his team’s objectives for this Week 2 include controlling the tempo of the game with offense and taking care of the football.
