HARBOR HOUSE IS TAKING IT BACK TO 1995 FOR ITS 30TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, SET FOR THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH

Harbor House – The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center turns 30 this year and will take it back to 1995 for its Birthday Bash, set for this Saturday, September 6th at 7 pm at Rotary Plaza in downtown Rome.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in 1990s fashion for the event, which will feature a live ’90s cover band, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and cash bar, according to Collette Hollingsworth, President of the non-profit’s Board of Directors.

Tickets cost $50 each and may be purchased at www.givebutter.com/cl7Inj or at the door.

Hollingsworth attests that the event will be a celebration of Harbor House’s efforts to support local children and families through the past three decades. It will also serve as a fundraiser to fuel those efforts.

Harbor House is a Child Advocacy Center that works with victims of sexual and severe physical abuse.

Courtney Shepard, Secretary of its Board of Directors, asserts that children that have endured traumatic experiences need the help of organizations like Harbor House in order to heal and become healthy adults.
