Announcement from the Rome-Floyd County Friends of the Library:
The Rome-Floyd County Friends of the Library will sponsor their Hardback Book Sale from Saturday, September 6, through Saturday, September 13. September 6, the Preview Sale, is free to current FOL members. Those who are not members may purchase tickets to the preview at the door for $5 per person (children accompanied by a parent are free). FOL memberships may also be purchased at the door.
Sale hours are Saturday, (9/6) 10am–4pm; Sunday, (9/7) 1pm–4pm; Monday–Thursday, (9/8-9/11) 10am–6pm; Friday–Saturday, (9/12-9/13). 10am–4pm. A series of “Special Sales” will begin that Tuesday.
On Monday, September 15th from 9 am-11 am, free books will be offered to non-profits, organizations, schools, teachers, churches, and other charities.
