Don’t miss your chance to visit the Ridge Ferry Park Farmer’s Market in ’25! It is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7 am to 11 am through Saturday, September 27th.
Vendors continue to be sought through the market’s conclusion, says Lindsey Jones, Recreation Services Manager for Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation.
Vendor fees are $10 per day, payable upon arrival. The vendor application is online at www.rfpra.com.
Shoppers at the market may select from a wide variety of home grown and home made items, enthuses Jones.
Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation also looks forward to kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month (a little early) on Saturday, September 27th with the Paper Doll Parade and Breast Cancer Awareness 5K, sponsored by Atrium Health Floyd.
Registration for that event is available on parks and rec’s website, according to Jones.
Jones also encourages Rome and Floyd County residents to attend Chili-Fest 2025, slated for Saturday, October 25th at Ridge Ferry Park. Cook teams and vendors are sought. Event details are on the website.
