The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and other local law enforcement agencies continue to warn the public to be on alert for scams.
Sheriff Dave Roberson says to beware whenever you receive an email or text that appears suspicious, as it just may be a scammer attempting to obtain your personal information. Older individuals tend to be more vulnerable to scams.
