Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) has received a donation of 32 student manuals for its Commercial Truck Driving – Class A program.

J. J. Keller & Associates Inc. recently notified the GNTC Foundation that it would make a one-time donation of 32 copies of its “Entry-Level Driver Training Obtaining a CDL Student Manual” to the college. J. J. Keller provides safety and regulatory compliance products and services to businesses of all sizes.

“The manual will educate drivers on essential safety practices, encourage professional conduct, promote compliance and set expectations for driver conduct,” said John Whitehead, instructor of Commercial Truck Driving – Class A at GNTC. “The donated manuals will help us to promote our core values of quality, integrity, respect and teamwork.”

GNTC’s Commercial Truck Driving – Class A certificate program is an 8 to 10-week program. At the program’s completion, students are administered the Georgia Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) skills exam. The program is based at the Walker County Campus in Rock Spring.
