The Cave Spring Downtown Development Authority invites everyone to the 2025 Cave Spring Pig-Out BBQ Cookoff and Car Show, set for this Saturday, September 27th from 10 am to 3 pm at Rolator Park. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and up.
Marley Peals, Director, says that the first 100 people in line will get to try samples from cook teams and vote for their favorite.
Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors in the following categories: Boston butts, ribs, and brisket. Car Show participants will also have opportunities to win awards in various categories.
The event will also feature 50+ vendors and even some ice cream and cake, enthuses Peals.
Event proceeds will be used by the Cave Spring DDA for the beautification of that city’s downtown area, according to Peals.
