The Atlanta Braves beat the Washington Nationals by 3-2 on Tuesday night in the second outing of a three-game National League East set at Truist Park. That was Atlanta’s 10th straight win.
The Nationals struck first with an RBI single by CJ Abrams in the top of the third inning. The Braves tied it at 1-1 with a home run by Michael Harris II in the bottom of the fifth. Ronald Acuna Jr added a solo shot in the sixth.
Harris homered again in the seventh. James Wood had a solo home run for the Nationals in the top of the eighth inning.
Hurston Waldrep picked up the win for Atlanta after giving up one run and five hits, walking four, and striking out five in six innings. Raisel Iglesias got the save. Brad Lord took the loss for Washington.
