The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism invites local artists to participate in the 2nd annual Plein Air Showcase of Georgia’s Rome scheduled for Saturday, October 18th to coincide with Fiddlin’ Fest, a Fall street festival in downtown Rome.
Kristi Kent, Communications Director for the tourism office, says that Plein Air painting is the act of painting outside. Details about this year’s Showcase are available online at www.romegeorgia.org. Participating artists will have an opportunity to win cash prizes.
More information and the link to register for the Plein Air Showcase of Georgia’s Rome are also available on the event Facebook page. Fiddlin Fest 2025 is scheduled to take place from 10 am to 4 pm. Details on that may be found on Facebook.
