Early voting will be offered through the next few weeks in the November 4th election at the Floyd County Elections Office, located at 18 East 12th Street in Rome. Registered voters may cast their early ballots on weekdays between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm from today through October 31st, as well as the next two Saturdays (October 18th and 25th) from 9 am to 5 pm and on Sunday, October 26th from 1 pm to 5 pm. Polls county-wide will be open on Election Day from 7 am until 7 pm.

The nonpartisan municipal election is being held for the purpose of electing three City Commissioners from Ward 2 and seven Rome Board of Education members. Ballots also feature a county-wide referendum. Voters statewide will determine District 2 and 3 Public Service Commissioner.
