IT’S TIME FOR FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, WEEK 11!

It’s time for Friday night lights in Northwest Georgia as area high school football teams take the field for the 11th week of play in the 2025 regular season!

WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM will have coverage of Darlington football tonight as their Tigers play host to the Temple Tigers.

Darlington improved to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in Region 6A Division 1 play last week with a victory at Model. Temple is 4-4 and 0-4.

Tate Ratledge, former Darlington and UGA player and current member of the Detroit Lions, will be honored tonight with the retirement of his Darlington jersey. Head football coach Wayne Groves recently told WLAQ Sports that the school is proud of Tate.
