ROME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ROLLS OUT THE RED CARPET THIS WEEK

The 22nd annual Rome International Film Festival is slated for this week in Rome, GA.

Leanne Cook, Executive Director, enthuses that there will be something for everyone. A variety of passes are available.

RIFF 2025 will offer a screening of the Ken Burns documentary film “The American Revolution”, which will be accompanied by a panel discussion, tonight. “Signing Tony Raymond”, a Georgia-made film, will be screened on Thursday evening, says Cook.

Jerusha Hess, writer of the films “Napoleon Dynamite” and “Nacho Libre”, will be on hand for some screenings of her films over the weekend, according to Cook.

The film festival will conclude on Sunday evening with a concert featuring the Atlanta Rhythm Section. The band will participate in a panel discussion after a screening of “That Georgia Rhythm” in the afternoon, states Cook.
