Dreams are becoming reality with the recent construction commencement for the Children’s Museum of Rome at Mount Berry Mall.
The ribbon cutting/grand opening at the museum is slated for late Spring to early Summer, according to Jenna Bosarge, co-founder, who attests that the goal is to be ready for field trips in the next school year.
The museum will have a variety of exhibits for kids to learn about things like health and wellness, dental care, and the automotive industry, says Bosarge.
There will also be construction and restaurant-themed exhibits, a section for STEAM-based activities, a farm-themed area for toddlers, and more.
Jenna and her husband Daniel were inspired to create the Children’s Museum of Rome when they paid a visit with their children to a similar museum down in Florida a couple of years ago.
Daniel Bosarge says that this dream would not become a reality without the community’s support.
Additional support is needed in the form of financial contributions. For more information, search for the Children’s Museum of Rome on Facebook.
