The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism invites community members to Trolley Tours planned for this holiday season.
Lindale Christmas Trolley Tours are scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, December 9th, beginning at 6 pm. Kristi Kent, Director of Communications for the tourism office, says that they will raise funds for Restoration Lindale, Inc. and will feature a stop at the historic Lindale Methodist Church.
Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults (plus fees). A link to purchase tickets may be located at www.romegeorgia.org.
Christmas Trolley Tours will be offered by the Rome Area History Center in downtown Rome on the evening of Friday, December 12th, according to Kent.
The cost for the tours in Rome is $25 per person (plus fees).
Kent also encourages the public to enjoy a carriage ride this holiday season. The Roman Royal Carriage is back and now booking for December.
Explore events and offerings around Rome and Floyd County for this holiday season on the tourism office’s website, www.romegeorgia.org, and via social media at Georgia’s Rome. A Christmas Light Map is now available on that website. The map guides viewers to light displays around the community at businesses, residences, and neighborhoods.
