The Atlanta Hawks lost on the road to the Charlotte Hornets by a final score of 133-126 on Thursday night in Charlotte, NC.
Jalen Johnson scored a game-high 43 points and contributed 11 rebounds for the Hawks, who are now 15-13 on the 2025-2026 regular season. Trae Young chipped in 10 assists in his return from injury.
LaMelo Ball had 28 points and 13 rebounds for the Hornets, who improved to 9-18.
The Hawks will be back on their home court at State Farm Arena in Atlanta to host the San Antonio Spurs this evening at 7:30 pm. They will wrap up the weekend at home versus the Chicago Bulls on Sunday at 3:30 pm.
