Media release from the Georgia Lottery Corporation:
Two Georgia Lottery players won $50,000 each in the Jan. 3 Powerball drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball. Those tickets were purchased at EZ Corner 22, 504 W. Franklin Street in Sylvester, and JP Lake Dow, 898 Highway 81 East in McDonough. The next drawing will be Jan. 5 with an estimated jackpot of $86 million.
Another player hit the jackpot for $229,038 in the Jan. 2 Fantasy 5 drawing with a ticket from Exxon Food Mart, 1080 Jodeco Road in Stockbridge. The next night another player hit the jackpot for $125,000 with a ticket from Publix, 2880 Georgia Highway 212 SW in Conyers.
Several players had lucky new year wins playing Diggi Games on the Georgia Lottery mobile app and website:
- A Decatur resident won $40,594 playing Elephant King Jackpots on Jan. 4
- An Atlanta player won $28,724 playing The Lamp: Dark Arts on Jan. 3
- A Macon resident won $20,000 playing 50x The Luck Linked Wins on Jan. 2
- A player in Rome won $10,000 playing Twice As Spice on Jan. 3
- A Riverdale resident won $10,000 playing Disco Pig Lucky Coins on Jan. 4.
