Northwest Georgia Charter Academy is hiring! Applications are available at www.nwgacharteracademy.org for a variety of vacancies.
Dr. Dawn Williams, Superintendent/Principal, encourages interested parties to apply very soon. Interviews will be conducted throughout the next couple of months.
Teachers are sought for grades K-5, according to Judy Taylor, Chairwoman of the Board.
Applications are additionally sought for grades 6-8 teachers, says Williams, who states that whether or not those grades are offered for next school year is to be determined.
In addition to teachers, Williams says that custodians, paraprofessionals, and and administrators are needed.
Potential employees should be enthusiastic about creating something new for the community, according to the website.
The first day of classes at the Northwest Georgia Charter Academy is set for August 3, 2026. The school will be housed in the Dillard Building located on the Georgia School for the Deaf campus.
