Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth Seeks Adults to Participate in “Are You Smarter Than A 3rd Grader?” Awareness Fundraiser, set for April 14th

The Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth encourages all community members to mark those calendars for Tuesday, April 14^th – that is the date of the “Are You Smarter Than A 3^rd Grader?” Awareness Fundraiser. It will take place at 6 pm at the Rome City Auditorium.

Jennifer Jolly, RFCCCY Executive Director, says that the event is patterned after the TV game show “Are You Smarter Than A 5^th Grader?”, but the focus is on students reaching literacy goals by 3^rd grade.

Teams of adults are sought to compete against local 3^rd graders in this year’s contest, says Jolly.
