Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley is already thinking about baseball season. The non-profit currently seeks volunteers to work concessions at the Rome Emperors’ home games during the 2026 season.
Volunteer opportunities are listed online at www.habitatcoosavalley.org, says Betsy Allgood, Executive Director.
The Emperors’ season will begin at home on Thursday, April 2nd versus the Asheville Tourists.
Some helping hands are also sought to build and repair homes, according to Allgood.
Habitat additionally seeks sponsors for the Overall Ball, slated for Saturday, April 25th at Oak Hill. The event will be highlighted by a performance from the Andrews Brothers Dueling Pianos, enthuses Allgood.
Tickets for the Overall Ball are currently available at a cost of $60 each on the Habitat website. Those who purchase six or more tickets will receive $10 off each ticket.
