The Atlanta Hawks were victorious on their home court over the Washington Wizards by 119-98 in NBA action on Tuesday night at State Farm Arena.
Jonathan Kuminga led all players in scoring with 27 points off the bench in his debut for the Hawks, who have won their last two consecutive games and improved to 29-31 on the 2025-26 regular season.
Will Riley had a team-high 18 points off the bench for the Wizards, who have lost two in a row and are now 16-41.
Tuesday night marked the first return to Atlanta for Trae Young since he was traded to Washington last month. He did not play.
The Hawks and the Wizards will meet again on Thursday night in Atlanta; tip off is set for 7:30 pm.
