Lucky you! There’s still time to register for the 10th Annual Leprechaun-a-thon 5K and Health Walk, proudly sponsored by Atrium Health Floyd and Harbin Clinic. The festive event will take place on Saturday, March 14, with the 5K beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the Health Walk stepping off at 5:45 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to register by Sunday, March 8, to guarantee their preferred t-shirt size. T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations received after that date. Registration is available online at: https://runsignup.com/Race/GA/Rome/LeprechaunaThon5KRun2MiHealthWalk.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Northwest Georgia Hunger Ministries, supporting efforts to fight hunger in the local community.
Runners and walkers alike are invited to wear their most festive green attire and best leprechaun costumes for the costume contest, which begins at 5:00 p.m. Following the race, participants can enjoy a post-race foam party, with awards presented around 6:30 p.m.
New this year, every participant will receive a complimentary ticket to the St. Paddy’s Day Concert at the Forum River Center featuring Babe’s Bayou.
