The Rome International Film Festival will team up with the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation and One Community United to present a documentary entitled “The Inquisitor – The Story of Barbara Jordan” at the DeSoto on the evening of Tuesday, March 31st at 6:30 pm.
The documentary centers around the first female black Senator, says Leanne Cook with RIFF and HDTF. Dr. Michael Bailey, the Associate Professor of Political Science at Berry College, will lead a discussion upon the conclusion of the screening, which is free to attend.
RIFF also plans to present a documentary entitled “The Librarians” in April, says Cook. It covers the topic of library censorship. Updates will be posted soon on Facebook.
