Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth to Host 4th Annual “Are You Smarter Than a 3rd Grader?” on April 14th

Just over a month remains until the “Are You Smarter Than A 3^rd Grader?” Awareness Fundraiser to benefit the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth. It will take place on the evening of Tuesday, April 14^th at 6 pm at the Rome City Auditorium.

The event is patterned after the TV game show “Are You Smarter Than A 5^th Grader?”, but the focus is on students reaching literacy goals by the 3^rd grade, enthuses RFCCCY Executive Director Jennifer Jolly, who adds that this 4^th annual battle of the brains will reveal whether or not adults are smarter than 3^rd graders.

Tickets will cost $10 for adults and $6 for children/youth. Concessions will be available. Jolly encourages the community to visit Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth on Facebook to meet the contestants and find a link to purchase tickets.
