The Grammy Award-winning SteelDrivers will perform a benefit concert for the YMCA of Rome and Floyd County on the evening of Saturday, April 18th at the Forum River Center in downtown Rome. Doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the show will start at 7:30 pm.
Jessica Brummett, Director of Development for the local Y, invites members of the community to attend the show.
The SteelDrivers will perform a blend of bluegrass, country, blues, and rock. This performance in Rome will be part of the band’s 20th anniversary tour.
Proceeds from the concert will support YMCA youth programs, scholarships, and outreach efforts.
Brummett says that one in 12 residents of Floyd County are affected by the Y, which aims to serve the community for a long time to come.
Links to purchase general admission and VIP tickets to the April 18th concert are available on the event Facebook page, The SteelDrivers Live: The Y’s Spring Fundraiser Concert.
