Media release from AAA – The Auto Club Group:
As Spring Break travel surges and security lines stretch at major airports across the country, AAA encourages travelers to prepare for longer wait times and increased congestion.
“Spring Break is always a busy time for airports, but this year we are seeing additional pressure on security lines due to TSA staffing limitations,” said Montrae Waiters, spokeswoman for AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Travelers should expect slower lines at some airports. The best way to avoid missed flights is to arrive early, stay informed, and allow plenty of extra time.”
