Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley looks forward to the return of Rome Emperors baseball. And they hope that visitors to AdventHealth Stadium will buy plenty of concessions!
Betsy Allgood, Executive Director, says that Habitat operates two of the large concession stands and the nacho stand at the ballpark. Fifteen percent of the proceeds go to Habitat, which also accepts tips. Volunteers (ages 14 and up) are sought to help with concessions at every Emperors home game. Interested parties may register to volunteer at www.habitatcoosavalley.org,
Habitat is also excited about its upcoming Overall Ball, set for the evening of Saturday, April 25th at Oak Hill. It will feature a performance by the Andrews Brothers Dueling Pianos. All of the proceeds will support the organization’s latest home build, says Allgood.
There has been quite a demand for Overall Ball tickets, according to Allgood. Check the website for current availability.
