A Soperton resident won the $1 million top prize playing the Millionaire Maker scratch-off game from the Georgia Lottery. The lucky ticket was purchased at Flash Foods, 213 N. Marcus Street in Wrightsville. The player claimed their winnings on April 7 and chose the annuity option. Last week, Georgia Lottery players claimed $46,504,438 in winnings from scratchers.
In addition, a Ranger resident won $100,000 playing the Wheel of Bonuses Diggi Game on the Georgia Lottery website and a ticket from RaceTrac, 3103 Roswell Road in Marietta won the $10,000 top prize playing Georgia FIVE in the April 7 evening drawing.
As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from scratchers, Diggi Games, and Georgia FIVE benefit education in the state of Georgia.
