Congratulations to Rome’s Kirsten Fricks and Cody Ball, whose daughter, Kahlia Angel Ball, was the first baby of the new year Sunday at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center. Kahlia weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces and is 19.5 inches long. They also have a daughter, Kalanii Ball, who will soon turn 2. The family received gifts from The Gift Shop at Floyd and Cheeky Baby Boutique.
