Local children are invited to learn about ducks and their habitats during the annual Greenwing event that will be hosted by Ducks Unlimited Rome this Saturday, May 13th at the Rome-Floyd ECO Center at Ridge Ferry Park on Riverside Parkway. The activities will begin at 10 am. Registration will start at 9 am.
Kelli Snow, DU Chairwoman, says that the event is open to kids ages two to 17. There will be wetland education, BB gun target shooting, inflatables, and the opportunity to learn about DU’s conservation efforts.
Hannah Bagley, Director of Keep Rome-Floyd Beautiful, will be on hand to assist with wetland education.
