The Rome-Floyd Recycling Center will host a Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection Event on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 412 Lavender Drive in West Rome. The event is for Rome/Floyd residents only, and will be held from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. Please be sure to have proof of Floyd County residency for the event (vehicle tag, license, utility bill, etc.).
HHW items typically collected at these events include liquids like used motor oil, paint, herbicides and pesticides.
Electronic items typically collected include computers, televisions, recorders, and most any peripheral type equipment like printers and keyboards.
Appointments are required and may be scheduled via the SignUpGenius link at www.floydcountyga.gov or by calling the center at (706) 291-5266.
