The Rome-Floyd Chamber has hit the ground running with plans for events and initiatives in 2024.
Pam Powers-Smith, President and CEO, says that plans include programming geared towards women-owned businesses, a celebration for first responders, new initiatives to benefit local non-profits, and more. She invites the public to get involved.
Powers-Smith adds that 2023 was a banner year for economic development in Rome/Floyd County, with the announcement of a major investment from Microsoft, business expansions, and ribbon cuttings for new businesses. She hopes that momentum will continue into this year.
Local business people that are not yet members of the Rome-Floyd Chamber are urged by Powers-Smith to join, as the organization offers many benefits such as opportunities to network.
