Grab your buddies, dust off your cleats and get ready to hit the ball field. Registration is open now for adult and church league softball.
Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation will offer two leagues. Adult league is comprised of an open division and a rec division. Each division must have a minimum of six teams to make. Church league will be a separate league and play on different nights than the other two divisions.
Participants in the adult league must be 18 years old or older to play while participants in the church league can be 16 years old as long as they are 16 on or before September 1 of the current year. Teams must have a minimum of 9 players with a maximum of 20 on the roster.
May/June season begins on May 20 and the July/August season will begin July 8. Registration for both seasons is currently open. May/June season registration closes April 26 and July/August season registration closes June 21.
The cost for church league is $350 per team and adult league is $400 per team.
