ASHLEY MORGAN HONORED WITH SUNFLOWER AWARD FOR NON-NURSING STAFF

Media release from AdventHealth Redmond:

AdventHealth Redmond is proud to announce that Ashley Morgan, PTA, has been named the latest recipient of the Sunflower Award, a complement to the DAISY Award that celebrates the work of individuals in non-nursing roles who support the nursing mission through compassion, collaboration and service excellence.

Ashley is a physical therapy assistant whose dedication, creativity and commitment to safety have made a lasting impact on both patients and staff. Members of the nursing team shared the following in her nomination:

“Ashley has helped us become so much better with the [mobility] equipment and has helped with our patients’ strength and independence returning faster. She has been instrumental in leading the safety/mobilization initiative. While she has been on our floor, Ashley has helped bridge gaps, assist with patient response times and care, answered call lights and phones to help… She has gone above and beyond to care, love and keep not only us but our patients safe. Thank you for your creativity and excitement–as well as going above and beyond for our patients!”

Ashley’s recognition is a testament to the vital role every team member plays in delivering whole-person care at AdventHealth Redmond.
