ART, MUSIC, FOOD, AND A CHANCE TO SEE THE WORLD’S FOLK ART CHURCH AWAIT ATTENDEES OF FINSTER FEST THIS WEEKEND AT HOWARD FINSTER’S PARADISE GARDEN

The Paradise Garden Foundation invites all Northwest Georgia residents to Finster Fest 2025, set for this Saturday and Sunday, September 20th and 21st at Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden in Summerville, GA. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm both days.

Davia Weatherill, Executive Director of the Paradise Garden Foundation, enthuses that the event will feature the works of more than 70 folk, craft, and fine artists, music, food, and special speakers to include individuals involved with the restoration of the World’s Folk Art Church.

Finster Fest attendees are encouraged by Weatherill to explore the World’s Folk Art Church, which was closed by Finster himself in 1999 and re-opened to the public over the summer.

General admission is $10 (children 12 and under, free); Chattooga County residents and Paradise Garden members, $5. Free parking is available at the Walmart on U.S. 27 just north of the Paradise Garden, with a complimentary 3-minute shuttle provided all day. Parking for patrons with disabilities will be available on site.
