Who says that CEOs have to be grown-ups? That is a question asked by the Children’s Museum of Rome, which invites community members to its Youth Business Expo on Saturday, October 25th from 10 am until 2 pm at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds.
Jenna Bosarge, museum co-founder, says that this market for youth vendors will give the participants an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship at a young age.
Daniel Bosarge, co-founder of the museum and an investor for Edward Jones, says that he hopes to instill a love of sales and entrepreneurship among these young vendors.
Additional vendors are sought through October 1st. Information is available on the Children’s Museum of Rome’s Facebook page, according to Jenna, who adds that the October 25th event will also feature food trucks, inflatables, and Fall games. Admission will be $5.
Business owners, parents, and grandparents are also encouraged to sponsor a tent for these young vendors. The cost is $200.
The Children’s Museum of Rome is a 501(c)(3) organization which aims to bring hands-on and interactive learning to the area.
