ATLANTA BRAVES’ RUN IN THE 2020 MLB POSTSEASON DRAWS TO A CLOSE WITH GAME SEVEN LOSS TO LA DODGERS IN NLCS

The Atlanta Braves’ run in the 2020 MLB postseason drew to a close with a heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-3 on Sunday night in Game Seven of the National League Championship Series at Globe Life Field down in Arlington, Texas. The Dodgers are now bound for the World Series versus the American League champion Tampa Bay Rays.

Kike Hernandez had a game-tying solo homerun in the sixth and the Dodgers took the lead on another solo shot from Cody Bellinger in the seventh.

Dansby Swanson had a solo home run, while Marcel Ozuna and Austin Riley each contributed RBI singles for the Braves.

Chris Martin took the loss for Atlanta after surrendering what turned out to be the game-winning homer. Julio Urias got the win for LA.

This marked the Atlanta Braves’ first trip to the NLCS since 2001. They have not been to the World Series since 1999. Their 2021 season is slated to begin on April 1st.
