The Northwest Georgia Center for Independent Living will team with the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency for a SenseAbility Showcase on Thursday, January 29th from 2 pm until 4 pm at GVRA Cave Spring Center, located at 7 Padlock Mountain Road in Cave Spring.
Christina Holtzclaw, NWGACIL Executive Director, says that the Showcase will highlight services and tools available to individuals who are deaf, blind, or deaf/blind. Attendees will be treated to pizza.
Interested parties may register for the event by calling (706) 314-0008 or by sending an email to info@nwgacil.org. A registration link is also featured on Facebook; search for NWGA Center for Independent Living. A Zoom option will be available to those unable to attend in person.
Holtzclaw encourages those with any kind of disability to contact the center for a wide variety of assistance.
The mission of the center is to empower those with disabilities via advocacy, skills training, and peer support.
