Announcement from Floyd County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers:
The Floyd County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will present a free Community Workshop, “Just Prune It”. The workshop will be Saturday, February 28, from 1pm to 3pm at Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home, located at 501 Riverside Parkway, Rome, GA. This is a great way to learn basic pruning skills and gain knowledge about the correct way to prune trees and shrubs. After winter damage, this is a workshop that gardeners will want to attend.
The City of Rome Arbor Day will be February 13 at the North Stars Park on North Broad Street starting at 1pm.
