The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism will offer a host of tours around the community to locals and visitors in the coming months.
Downtown History Tours aboard the Roman Chariot will start in April, says Kristi Kent, Director of Communications for the tourism office.
Rome’s iconic Clocktower will again be open for tours this year after being closed for awhile due to renovations, adds Kent. Those tours will be held on the first Saturday of each month, starting in April.
Locals and visitors may also opt to take a tour aboard the Sulzbacher Roman Holiday Riverboat. They will begin on the first Sunday in May, according to Kent.

The tourism office additionally looks forward to the Spring Art Market. That will take place at the Rome Civic Center on Friday, April 10th from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday, April 11th from 10 am until 4 pm.
